Six Senses London is the brand’s debut UK property, set within The Whiteley, a Grade II-listed former department store in Bayswater reimagined as a mixed-use landmark by Foster + Partners. The hotel occupies a full quarter of the building, just steps from Hyde Park and Notting Hill, and comprises 109 rooms and suites alongside 14 branded residences. At its heart is the first-ever Six Senses Place, a wellbeing-focused members’ club, sitting above a 2,300-square-metre urban spa inspired by the character of an old underground station. Interiors by AvroKO and EPR Architects combine bold curves, inky blues and warm woods with the building’s original Art Deco heritage, including its restored domed roof and grand staircase. Dining centres on Whiteley’s Kitchen, Bar and Café, led by Executive Chef Eliano Crespi, serving modern British food rooted in seasonal, sustainably sourced ingredients.
