Six Senses Con Dao is set along Dat Doc Beach on the island of Con Son within a protected national and marine park, little more than a 45-minute flight from Ho Chi Minh City. Vietnam’s first five-star resort in a marine protected area, it comprises 50 villas built in a Vietnamese fishing-village style with reclaimed teakwood interiors and sun-bleached bamboo, arranged in two rows facing the ocean. Villas range from single-level to duplex layouts with one to four bedrooms, each with its own private infinity pool and open-style bathroom with an outdoor shower. The resort is known for its green sea turtle conservation programme, the “Let’s Get Cracking” Turtle Incubation Center, which has released tens of thousands of hatchlings since 2018. Dining spans Vietnamese and international cuisine across the resort’s restaurants, bars and destination-dining experiences, and the Six Senses Spa sits against the backdrop of the Lo Voi Mountains.
